Algorithm of Colour, Reflection (2026)
The work is based on a single coordinate and date: Mbale, Uganda, February 10, 1973, the date of public executions under Idi Amin's regime. Using atmospheric reanalysis data, the sky is modeled as it likely appeared at that time. The reconstruction is a model, not a record. It is an attempt to approach what the victims saw, and what all those present witnessed, the last shared sky above them.
